By updating your SalesBook settings page to include your Salesforce CRM account information, you will be able to do the following:
1. Import your contacts from Salesforce into your SalesBook account.
2. Be notified when you've added contacts into Salesforce so you can decide whether to add
them to your SalesBook.
3. When sending announcements in SalesBook, a copy will be sent to your Salesforce CRM.
4. Reporting information will be sent to your Salesforce CRM so you can view some
consolidated reporting.
* SalesBook continuously adds additional features and will be adding more integration points
for your Salesforce CRM.
To enable this integration, simply do the following:
In Salesforce
1. You will need the following information from your Salesforce CRM account:
a. User Name
b. Password
c. Security Token -
You can find this in Salesforce by selecting:
Setup | My Personal Information | Reset My Security Token
d. BCC -
You can find this in Salesforce by selecting:
Setup | Email | My Email to Salesforce | Email to Salesforce Address
Make note of the email address shown in this field.
2. Enable your Salesforce feature to allow the receiving of e-mails from SalesBook.
Do this in Salesforce following these steps:
a. In Salesforce select: Setup | Email Administration | Email to Salesforce.
Then select "Active".
b. In Salesforce select: Setup | Email | My Email to Salesforce and in the
My Acceptable Email Addresses area, add noreply@mailout.salesbook.com,
noreply@wl.salesbook.com
In SalesBook
1. Log into your SalesBook account
2. Click the "Settings" link in the top right corner
3. Scroll down to the "Integrate with Salesforce.com" section.
4. Complete the fields with the information you noted from your Salesforce account:
a. Enter your User Name, Password, and Security Token where indicated
b. Enter your BCC email address in the "Mail to Salesforce (BCC Address) field
c. Select the Notification Frequency. This is the frequency you would like SalesBook to
check your Salesforce account for updates. Once an update has been made, you
will receive an e-mail from SalesBook that an update has been detected. You can
then log into your SalesBook Contact Manager and import the update into your
SalesBook Contact Manager.
